The tool I wished existed years ago

I've spent the best part of 15 years working in operations — the kind of roles where things go wrong at 2am and you're the one who has to sort it out. I've planned and delivered events across multiple continents, managed logistics in some pretty extreme environments, and spent more time than I care to admit writing risk assessments and SOPs at a desk the night before a big event.

The frustrating thing was — there was never a decent tool to help. Everything was built from scratch every time. Copy from an old document, adapt it, hope you haven't missed anything. It was slow, inconsistent, and honestly a bit stressful when you're already juggling a hundred other things.

That's what led me to build Adventure Aware. Not because I wanted to build a tech company — but because I genuinely couldn't find anything that did the job properly, so I decided to make it myself.

The documents it produces are built around how operational paperwork actually works in the real world — not just ticking boxes.
