1. About Adventure Aware

Adventure Aware (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides an AI-assisted document generation service for risk assessments, standard operating procedures, emergency action plans, and event operations briefs. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

2. Guideline templates only

All documents generated by Adventure Aware are guideline templates only. They do not constitute professional legal, safety, or regulatory advice. You must have every document reviewed, amended, and approved by a suitably qualified and competent person before it is used in any operational context.

3. Your Responsibilities

By using Adventure Aware you acknowledge and agree that:

• You will review, amend, and have approved every generated document by a suitably qualified and competent person before it is used in any operational context.
• You are solely responsible for ensuring that all documents are appropriate for your specific activity, environment, participants, and legal obligations.
• You will not rely solely on a generated document to make safety, legal, or regulatory decisions.
• You accept that failure to review and verify generated documents before operational use is entirely at your own risk and releases Adventure Aware from any associated liability.
• You will keep your account credentials confidential and notify us immediately at info@adventureaware.com of any unauthorised access or use of your account.
• You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adventure Aware, its directors, employees, and affiliates accept no liability for any injury, loss, damage, or legal consequence arising from the use of, or reliance upon, documents generated by the service.

5. Intellectual Property

The Adventure Aware platform, including its software, design, AI models, prompts, and content, is the intellectual property of Adventure Aware and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Documents generated through the service using your inputs are yours. You retain full ownership of the content of documents you generate, subject to your compliance with these Terms.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Adventure Aware platform itself without our express written permission.

6. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Adventure Aware, its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of the service or any generated document;
• Your failure to review, verify, or have approved any generated document before operational use;
• Any breach of these Terms by you;
• Any claim by a third party arising from your use of documents generated through the service.

7. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance via our payment provider. You may cancel at any time; access remains until the end of the current billing period. Free trial usage is limited as described on the pricing page.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access other users’ accounts, reverse-engineer the platform, or generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringing.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the dashboard or email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of Adventure Aware is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
